We are a mother-run company, which makes Took-ah brand baby carriers (wraparound, baby sling, and doll slings). We specialize in painted slings, which are hand-painted using the Folk Art One Stroke method. We also make play mats and hand painted visors for children. All our Took-ah Carriers are hand-made by Jacqui or Christina, the creators at Hug-A-Bug Baby Creations.

Where did the carrier name came from?
Took-ah is a nickname for Jacqui's daughter Marissa, given by her dad, Chris. Took-ah is one of Marissa's nicknames, which came from her first attempts to say "tickle".
